Mossy Mushroom Vessel III

This upcycled planter/candle holder is broken bowl hand-decorated with polymer clay and sealed with a matte finish. It  measures 3.5 tall and is 3.5 at its widest point. This vessel is one of a kind, no two are or will ever be alike. The upcycled interior vessel was hand thrown by me back in college.  The cobaltocalcite crystal that is embedded into the clay is ethically sourced from Woolfden Homestead also in Monkton, VT.

This vessel features hand sculpted miniature pixie cup lichen, christmas lichen, lung lichen, versicolor trametes, chicken of the woods, and a base scene including chanterelles, amanita muscarias, puffballs, and a large piece of cobaltocalcite, and other little goodies one would find on the forest floor.

Though repaired, this item is not considered food safe. Do not use this vessel to grow consumable foods or serve prepared food unless you put another bowl on the interior. Even then, please exercise caution as polymer clay is not food safe. I am not responsible for injuries or sickness incurred by those who do not heed my instructions. 

Due to the handmade nature of these items there may be small imperfections or slight variances from the image shown. No two are identical. Colors may also vary slightly depending on the device you are viewing this on!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS 

Polymer clay is lightweight, durable and can easily bend or flex without breaking - to a point. However, handle these with care and do not intentionally force or bend them to ensure they last as long as possible. Store them away from direct sunlight and clean with a damp cloth as needed.
